One run, one run, one run, run-on, Game On?

Clayton Kershaw exited after two innings Sunday with an apparent injury and Stephen Strasburg exited after two innings Sunday with an apparent injury and Caleb Smith exited during the fourth inning on Sunday and he was the third different Yankees pitcher to take Michael Pineda’s spot three times through the rotation (10 runs in 11.1 innings, collectively) since Pineda was lost for the season with a definite injury and Texas just swept a playoff contender (by one run and one run and one run) right after getting swept by a contender (by a whole lot of runs) and a bunch of you asked for a TROT COFFEY update but Jekyll doesn’t like it when Hyde has a full-blown report teed up and vice versa and so this is more like an espresso shot and various writers have reported that the Cubs and Dodgers and Astros and Yankees and Brewers and Indians and Rockies could have interest in Yu Darvish but so does Texas and the Kershaw and Strasburg and Pineda injuries don’t change that but they could change a separate part of this equation and today is the final Monday before oh wow so yeah better buckle up.
