Appreciate your patience. I know I promised a long-form report that I had planned to write yesterday, but some major computer issues at home have fully handcuffed and straitjacketed me. I’m hopeful that I’m back in action by tomorrow, but at this point I’ve learned not to get too optimistic.

I will reiterate this: It’s going to be a long report. A very long report. Coming off these last couple weeks of abnormally short entries, I like to think of it as an 11–0 complete-game shutout breaking a string of a very different type of baseball games. Or maybe not.

The report is going to focus on a much bigger picture than just the last few weeks of Rangers baseball, bigger even than the 2017 season. I can’t promise when it will go out, but there’s at least a hitting pitcher’s chance that it will be tomorrow. If it’s another day or two beyond that, I apologize but appreciate your understanding.

Thanks again.
