We're not done.

We raised over $16,600 at last night’s Newberg Report Book Release raffle/auction, every dollar of which will go to support the Emilie Parker Memorial Fund.  Emilie’s uncle wants everyone to know that the Parker family is overwhelmed by what you all have done, and they’re going to share the proceeds in the Fund with other families stricken by the Newtown tragedy as well.

And we’re not done.  More donations have come this way overnight and this morning, and we’re now over $19,000.

The opportunity to sit in with Ben & Skin during a morning show on ESPN 103.3 and then get lunch with them afterwards went for $1,100 in the live auction, and Ben Rogers was so bowled over that he offered up a second chance at the same package.  It was instantly matched.

He heard from a third fan this morning, offering to match it again.  Done.

And now Ben & Skin are opening this thing up: Anyone who wants to match the $1,100 bid can line up a day with them to sit in studio to watch them air a show, and get lunch with them afterwards.  You can bring up to four people (including yourself).

This isn’t first-come, first-served.  It’s bring-it-on, everyone-served.

And every dollar of your bid will go to the Memorial Fund.

For those of you who are interested, if you know how to reach one of those guys, let them know you want in on this.  Otherwise, you can get back to me and I’ll get you connected with them.
